Abortion became illegal in Louisiana and much of the South following the Supreme Court's overturning of Roe v. Wade, creating a healthcare crisis among medical providers and delaying essential care for those seeking services. In this void of legal access to abortion, we are reminded of the importance of community care.

As we near the anniversary of the Dobbs decision, Creative Community League, Once Around the Kitchen, and New Orleans artists and creators invite you to an affirmation of bodily autonomy and self-determination expressed in community gathering, education and the arts.

Join us on Saturday, June 24 from 1-5 pm at Bud Rip's for an arts market, food and cocktails. Proceeds will benefit education and outreach about abortion access for our New Orleans community.
