Beets & Brine: A Backyard Bar Take Over & Art Market
We are taking over the entire back yard at Pirogue's Whiskey Bayou with our new series Beets & Brine. Beets & Brine is an evening of creativity and community that focuses on supporting small local businesses.
Each month we will feature a local Bartender(s) that will be tasked with creating a one of a kind cocktail menu featuring locally sourced ingredients from the Once Around The Kitchen pantry and locally made spirits from our partner Porchjam Distillery. We will also have a DJ each week to get your body moving!
This month we are looking forward to having Turning Tables Alumni Zari Nunez (Espiritu/The Dew Drop Inn) and Ava Gonzalez (Sylvain) join us behind the bar and DJ Carmine P. Filthy providing the beets for the evening!
Chef Melissa Araujo will be in the kitchen with her new project Oscar and we will have Oyster Happy Hour until 7pm!
